Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the diced bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon, leaving grease.
  3. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with bacon grease. Sauté over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  4. Add ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook for 8-10 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  5. Allow the beef and bacon mixture to cool for about 5 minutes.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  7. Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish and spoon the meat mixture evenly into the bottom.
  8. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the meat mixture.
  9. Pour the whisked egg mixture evenly over the layered meat and cheese.
  10. Top with remaining cheese.
