  • 0.25 cups salsa homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or fresh garlic, adjust quantity
  • 1 tsp onion powder or dried onion flakes
  • 1 tsp cumin omit for a milder taste
  • salt & pepper season to taste
For the Taquitos
  • 10 small flour or corn tortillas corn tortillas are gluten-free

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salsa, and spices. Mix until smooth.
  3. Assemble taquitos by placing filling on one end of each tortilla and rolling tightly. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush tops of taquitos with olive oil or cooking spray. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm with dipping options.
