Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats with your preferred milk and chia seeds, mixing until well-coated.
  2. Sweeten the mixture by adding mashed banana or maple syrup to taste, then stir well.
  3. Cover securely and chill in the refrigerator overnight for at least 6–8 hours.
  4. Prepare the blueberry compote by cooking blueberries, chia seeds, maple syrup, and lemon juice in a saucepan for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  5. Once ready, spoon the oats into bowls and top with the blueberry compote and optional granola.
  6. Enjoy cold or gently warmed in the microwave for 30 seconds, garnished with extra blueberries and yogurt.
