Preparation Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, sliced jalapeños, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Use your hands to roll the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch balls and chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
- Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, another with a beaten egg, and a third with breadcrumbs.
- Roll each ball in flour, dip into the beaten egg, and coat fully with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a skillet and fry the poppers for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, ranch dressing, garlic powder, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and red pepper flakes. Chill for at least 10 minutes.
- Serve the poppers hot on a platter alongside your creamy dip, garnished with fresh parsley.
