For the Breading

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, sliced jalapeños, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Use your hands to roll the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch balls and chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, another with a beaten egg, and a third with breadcrumbs.
  4. Roll each ball in flour, dip into the beaten egg, and coat fully with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a skillet and fry the poppers for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, ranch dressing, garlic powder, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and red pepper flakes. Chill for at least 10 minutes.
  7. Serve the poppers hot on a platter alongside your creamy dip, garnished with fresh parsley.
