- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Whisk together 1/2 cup of melted butter and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar until smooth. Add 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 cup of sour cream, and 2-3 mashed ripe bananas.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet banana mixture gently.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar mixture.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, testing with a toothpick for doneness.
- Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for about 30-40 minutes.
- Whisk together 1 cup of powdered sugar and a couple of tablespoons of milk to create a glaze and drizzle it over the cooled loaf.
