Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, and egg. Then stir in milk.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients without overmixing.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped apples until evenly distributed.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, oats, and cinnamon for streusel. Add cold butter and combine until crumbly.
  7. Spoon the muffin batter into liners, filling about ¾ full. Sprinkle streusel on top.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.
  9. Allow muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
