Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook for about 9–11 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook for about 6–8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook for about 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in canned diced tomatoes and beef broth, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  5. Remove skillet from heat and stir in Greek yogurt and grated Parmesan cheese until smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Toss cooked penne pasta into the skillet, mixing until well coated. Add broth or water if the mixture is too thick.
  7. Serve in plates and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy with a side salad or garlic bread.
