Preparation
- Roll the fresh lemons firmly on the countertop to help release their juices. Cut them in half and use a citrus juicer to extract 1 cup of lemon juice.
- In a large pitcher, pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and add the sweetened condensed milk. Stir vigorously until smooth and well-combined.
- Gradually mix in 2 cups of cold water while slowly stirring. Taste and adjust sweetness with simple syrup if desired.
- Let the lemonade chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
- Fill tall glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemonade over the ice, and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint.
