Cooking Instructions
- Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat. Carefully add 12 ounces of twisted pasta to the boiling water, stirring occasionally. Cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes, then drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the 1.5 pounds of sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces. Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until it is brown and crusty on all sides. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add 4 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and add 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Add the cooked twisted pasta to the skillet, stirring gently to coat evenly. Next, sprinkle in 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until cheese melts and integrates into the sauce. Finally, fold in the seared steak bites, ensuring they're well-coated and heated through for 1-2 minutes.
