Step-by-Step Instructions for Ricotta Egg Bites
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese with milk and whisk until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy.
  4. Combine the ricotta mixture with the beaten eggs, adding sea salt and garlic powder, and mix well.
  5. Spray muffin tin with non-stick spray; place sausage patties in muffin cups if using.
  6. Pour the egg and ricotta mixture into each muffin cup, filling them about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for 10 to 18 minutes until puffy and just set in the center.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving, optionally sprinkle with cracked pepper.
