Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine all-purpose flour, panko breadcrumbs, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Wash and slice the apples into ¼-inch wedges and allow them to rest for a minute.
  4. In a small bowl, beat the eggs. Dip each apple wedge into the eggs, coating them fully.
  5. Roll each apple wedge in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  6. Place the coated apple wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Set the timer for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through for even cooking.
  8. Carefully remove the apple fries and let them cool slightly, then sprinkle with sugar if desired.
