Steps
  1. Combine warm water and sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle yeast over and let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.

  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare garlic and toppings: mince garlic, grate cheese, and chop herbs.
  5. Coat a 9x13 inch pan with olive oil, transfer dough, and stretch to fit without deflating.
  6. Dimple the surface of the dough and add minced garlic, cheese, herbs, and flaky salt.
  7. Cover the pan and let the dough rise for 20-30 minutes. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
