Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 8 oz Crab Meat canned, fresh, or imitation
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese can substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 2 stalks Green Onions chives can be used
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce tamari for gluten-free option
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder or use fresh garlic
Wrappers
  • 20 pieces Wonton Wrappers spring roll wrappers as alternative
For Frying
  • 2-3 inches Vegetable Oil high smoke point oils recommended

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, chopped green onions, soy sauce, and garlic powder until creamy and well combined.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place a spoonful of the crab mixture in the center. Moisten edges of the wrapper with water and fold it over to seal.
  3. In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil to around 350°F (175°C) for frying.
  4. Carefully add Crab Rangoon Bombs to the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Remove the fried bombs and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve on a platter and enjoy with a dipping sauce.

Notes
