  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
For the Glaze
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Water
For the Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks Green onions sliced

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry and coat them with olive oil.
  3. Combine all marinade ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir until smooth.
  4. Add chicken to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Arrange chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook chicken thighs for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Check chicken’s internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
  8. Simmer remaining marinade in a saucepan, thickening with cornstarch and water.
  9. Coat the cooked chicken with the glaze and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
