Preparation Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, sour cream, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Cut mozzarella cheese sticks in half. Wrap each half with the spinach mixture, making sure there are no gaps.
- Prepare the breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate shallow dishes.
- Coat each wrapped stick in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally roll in breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F. Fry sticks for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
