- Wash cucumbers and cherry tomatoes thoroughly under cool water. Cut cucumbers into ¼-inch rounds and halve the cherry tomatoes. Place in a large mixing bowl.
- If using a large mozzarella ball, slice it into rounds matching the thickness of the cucumbers. If using ciliegine, keep whole or halve. Add mozzarella to the bowl.
- Gently combine cucumbers, tomatoes, and mozzarella in the mixing bowl using a spatula or your hands to avoid crushing the cheese.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together olive oil and balsamic glaze until silky. This will be the dressing for the salad.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad mixture, ensuring each vegetable is lightly coated.
- Tear fresh basil leaves into smaller pieces and scatter over the salad. Toss gently to incorporate without damaging ingredients.
