  • 8 ounce Fresh Mozzarella Ciliegine can be used whole or halved
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves Tear leaves for aroma
For the Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Glaze Balsamic vinegar is a substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash cucumbers and cherry tomatoes thoroughly under cool water. Cut cucumbers into ¼-inch rounds and halve the cherry tomatoes. Place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. If using a large mozzarella ball, slice it into rounds matching the thickness of the cucumbers. If using ciliegine, keep whole or halve. Add mozzarella to the bowl.
  3. Gently combine cucumbers, tomatoes, and mozzarella in the mixing bowl using a spatula or your hands to avoid crushing the cheese.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together olive oil and balsamic glaze until silky. This will be the dressing for the salad.
  5. Drizzle the dressing over the salad mixture, ensuring each vegetable is lightly coated.
  6. Tear fresh basil leaves into smaller pieces and scatter over the salad. Toss gently to incorporate without damaging ingredients.
  7. Before serving, taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve immediately for maximum freshness.
