Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate the shrimp by combining olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add shrimp and coat evenly. Let sit for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the slaw by tossing together cabbage, carrots, cilantro. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise and lime juice, then pour over the cabbage mixture and stir well. Set aside for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Cook the shrimp in a heated skillet over medium-high heat, about 2-3 minutes on each side until opaque and charred. Remove and let rest.
  4. Warm tortillas in the same skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
  5. Assemble tacos by layering cooked shrimp and tangy slaw on warm tortillas. Add additional toppings if desired.
