  • 8 slices deli ham thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cheese good melting cheese (Cheddar, Gouda, Swiss, or Mozzarella)

  • 3 tablespoons garlic butter glaze made with melted butter, minced garlic, and fresh parsley

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll one sheet of thawed puff pastry and layer it with slices of cheese and deli ham. Place a second pastry sheet over and press down to seal.
  3. Cut the layered pastry into 1-inch wide strips for shaping into trees.
  4. Fold each pastry strip around a wooden skewer and secure the end by pinching.
  5. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley for the glaze. Brush it over the assembled trees.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Let cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving warm.
