  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil Use pure sesame oil for the best taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar Can substitute with white wine vinegar.
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang Can substitute by mixing 1 tbsp tomato paste with ½ tsp sriracha.
For Grilling
  • 8 pieces Skewers Soak wooden skewers beforehand.
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions Optional garnish.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Korean Chicken Skewers
  1. Cut the boneless, skinless chicken thighs into 1 ½-inch cubes and place in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together marinade ingredients until well combined.
  3. Pour half of the marinade over chicken, toss gently, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  4. Preheat grill to medium heat (350°F to 400°F).
  5. Slide marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving space between pieces.
  6. Grill skewers for 20-30 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes, and baste with reserved marinade.
  7. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped green onions.
