Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the very ripe bananas until smooth, then mix in the peanut butter and maple syrup.
  3. Sprinkle the oat flour and baking soda into the mixture and stir until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
  4. Carefully fold in the chocolate chips, leaving some for topping if desired.
  5. Pour the mixture into the lined baking dish and smooth the top. Optionally sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before lifting out and slicing into squares.
