- Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a small pot over medium-high heat.
- Add 1 cup of Thai tea mix into the hot water and steep for 4-5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a large pitcher, discarding the used tea leaves.
- Stir in 2/3 to 3/4 cup of sugar while the tea is still warm.
- Add 4 cups of cold water and 2/3 cup of fresh lime juice to the sweetened tea.
- Serve over ice and garnish with a lime wheel or mint if desired.
