Step-by-Step Instructions
- Using a sharp knife, carefully peel and segment the grapefruit, oranges, lemon, and lime. Remove the peel in a way that exposes the juicy segments while capturing any juice that may escape. This should take about 5 minutes.
- Gently place all the citrus segments into a large bowl. Take your time to avoid breaking the segments, as their shape adds a lovely visual appeal. This mixing should take no more than 2 minutes.
- Finely chop a handful of fresh mint leaves and set them aside. This should only take a minute.
- Drizzle a small amount of honey over the citrus and mint mixture, if using, and sprinkle a pinch of salt for balance. Stir gently with a spatula or large spoon, ensuring all pieces are lightly coated. This should take about 1 minute.
- Gently toss the salad again, being careful not to break any citrus segments. This step will take around 2 minutes.

Notes
Always use fresh mint for the best flavor. Taste the fruit before adding honey; sometimes the natural sweetness is enough.
