Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly flour your countertop and roll out the chilled puff pastry into a large rectangle, about 1/8 inch thick. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard across the surface.
- Layer slices of ham over the mustard-covered pastry, followed by shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
- Gently roll the pastry away from you to form a log and seal the edges. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Slice the log into approximately 1-inch thick pinwheels and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
