  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon can adjust to preference

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cube the challah or brioche bread and distribute it in the baking dish. Scatter fresh blueberries evenly over the bread.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the bread and blueberries, pressing down gently to ensure absorption. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  5. Bake the casserole for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar, and with whipped cream or extra maple syrup as desired.
