- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and freshly minced garlic. Whisk until well blended.
- Lightly grease a large baking dish. Toss chicken thighs in half of the sauce and arrange in the dish. Drizzle remaining sauce on top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, basting halfway through, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- At the 20-minute mark, stir in rice and chicken broth. Mix gently to distribute.
- Return to the oven and continue cooking until chicken is done and rice is tender.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with chopped green onions if desired.
