Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and freshly minced garlic. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Lightly grease a large baking dish. Toss chicken thighs in half of the sauce and arrange in the dish. Drizzle remaining sauce on top.
  4. Bake for 35–40 minutes, basting halfway through, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. At the 20-minute mark, stir in rice and chicken broth. Mix gently to distribute.
  6. Return to the oven and continue cooking until chicken is done and rice is tender.
  7. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with chopped green onions if desired.
