Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, sear chicken thighs skin-side down for about 5 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Spoon out excess fat from the skillet, leaving about 1 tablespoon. Reduce heat to medium-low, then add butter and crushed garlic. Stir for about 30 seconds.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from oven, spoon garlic butter sauce over the thighs, sprinkle with parsley, and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
