- Thaw and pat tilapia fillets dry. Season with salt and pepper. Trim green beans, mince garlic, juice, and slice lemon.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Sauté green beans for 4-6 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Transfer to a plate to keep warm.
- Add olive oil and butter to the skillet. Sear tilapia for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
- Lower heat to medium and add remaining butter until melted. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add lemon juice and broth or wine; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Return tilapia and green beans to the skillet, adding lemon slices. Cover and simmer for 3-5 minutes until fish is opaque and flakes easily.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley or dill, and serve immediately, drizzling the sauce over the dish.
