Step-by-Step Instructions for Lemon Pecorino Crusted Chicken
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your chicken breasts and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a shallow dish, mix the grated Pecorino Romano cheese with all-purpose flour. Dredge each chicken breast in the mixture.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the coated chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  6. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice and chicken broth, scraping the skillet.
  7. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in heavy cream and continue stirring until thickened.
  8. Remove chicken from the oven and let it rest. Plate the chicken and drizzle with creamy sauce and garnish with parsley.
