  • 2 cups Crushed Pretzels try gluten-free pretzels for a gluten-free version
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar for crust
  • 1/2 cup Salted Butter melted; use unsalted if preferred
For the Filling
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened, at room temperature
  • 8 ounces Whipped Topping thawed; homemade can also be used
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar for filling; adjust according to taste
  • 1 cup Lemon Pie Filling store-bought or homemade
For Garnish
  • 1 medium Lemon for garnish; use thin slices or zest

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Crush the pretzels into fine pieces, then mix with sugar and melted butter. Press into a 9x13-inch baking dish and chill for 15-20 minutes.
Make the Filling
  1. Beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until fluffy, then fold in the whipped topping.
Assemble Layers
  1. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust, followed by the lemon pie filling.
Chill
  1. Cover the dessert and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Garnish
  1. Before serving, top with whipped topping, crushed pretzels, and lemon slices.
