Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat the oil by adding 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until shimmering.
  2. Sauté the onions by adding 1/2 medium diced onion to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes until soft. Stir and add 3 minced garlic cloves for another minute.
  3. Cook the ground beef by adding 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet, breaking apart and cooking for 6-8 minutes until browned.
  4. Season the beef by stirring in 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Prepare the garlic yogurt sauce by combining 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Mix in a minced garlic clove.
  6. Warm the pita by placing 4 pita breads in a preheated oven at 350°F for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Assemble the wraps by layering the cooked ground beef mixture, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and crumbled feta in each pita.
  8. Drizzle the garlic yogurt sauce over the filled pitas and serve immediately.
