Step-by-Step Instructions for Cowboy Butter Steak
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the cowboy butter and mix thoroughly until well blended.
- For enhanced flavor, sear the steak in a skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Layer the halved baby potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place the seared steak directly on top of the potatoes in the slow cooker.
- Spoon the cowboy butter over the top of the steak and potatoes.
- Pour beef broth around the edges of the slow cooker.
- Cover and slow cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
- For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes.
- Once cooked, transfer to a serving platter and garnish with additional chopped parsley.
