Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, beaten egg, and maple syrup until smooth.
  3. Carefully fold in the chopped sausage or bacon into the wet mixture.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small pat of butter to grease the surface.
  5. Drop a tablespoon of the batter onto the skillet for each bite, allowing space between them.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Once cooked, stack the Mini McGriddle Bites on a serving platter and drizzle with extra maple syrup.
