Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 1 cup Warm Water around 110°F
  • 2 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast ensure fresh
  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour or bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter melted
For the Topping
  • 1 teaspoon Salt regular table salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh garlic

Method
 

Prepare and Bake
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water with yeast and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix in flour, melted butter, and salt until the dough comes together but is slightly sticky.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Punch down the dough, divide into 12 pieces, and roll each into 6-inch breadsticks.
  7. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise for an additional 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Melt butter, mix with garlic powder and salt. Brush over breadsticks immediately after baking.
