For the Chicken Salad
  • 3 cups finely shredded chicken cooked
  • 1 cup Duke’s mayonnaise or other mayonnaise
  • 1 cup diced celery or cucumber as a substitute
  • 1 cup diced apples Fuji recommended, pears can be used as a substitute
  • 1 cup halved grapes or dried cranberries
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts as a substitute
  • 4 slices bacon cooked
  • 1 tablespoon dry Ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Finely shred the cooked chicken and set aside in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine Duke’s mayonnaise, dry Ranch mix, garlic powder, and onion powder; stir until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the celery, apples, grapes, and pecans into the mayonnaise mixture until well coated.
  4. Add the shredded chicken to the mayonnaise mixture and fold gently to combine.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
