Ingredients
  

Lemonade Base
  • 4 medium Ripe Peaches Peel and slice for best taste.
  • 1 cup Fresh Ginger Peel and slice.
  • 1/2 cup Cane Sugar Adjust to taste, can substitute with honey or maple syrup.
  • 4 cups Water Use filtered water for better taste.
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed for essential tartness.
For Serving
  • 2 cups Ice Cubes Essential for serving chilled drinks.
  • 1 medium Fresh Cut Lemon Slices For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sliced ripe peaches, fresh ginger slices, cane sugar, and 1 cup of filtered water. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes. Pour into a blender and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  3. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and add 2 to 3 cups of cold water according to your taste. Stir well and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Fill serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the lemonade over them. Garnish with fresh lemon slices.
  5. Store in the refrigerator if not serving immediately. Stir well before serving if it has sat for a while.
