- Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan over medium heat. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags or loose leaf tea. Let steep for about 10 minutes, then remove the tea bags or strain out the loose leaves into a large pitcher.
- In a separate saucepan, combine 2 cups of diced ripe mango with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes. Mash the mango to create a smooth puree.
- Strain the mango mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into the pitcher with the brewed tea, pressing down to extract the mango flavor. Discard the solids.
- Gradually stir in honey until fully dissolved, tasting to achieve desired sweetness.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes. When ready to serve, fill tall glasses with ice and pour the tea over it. Garnish with fresh mango slices.
