Step-by-Step Instructions for Easy Fruity Peach Lemonade
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1.16 lbs of peeled and chopped ripe peaches, ½ cup of sugar, and 2 cups of water. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until it boils, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer gently for 5-10 minutes until peaches soften and syrup darkens.
  3. Remove from heat and cool for 30 minutes. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing the peaches to extract juice.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine 1 cup of cooled peach syrup with 1/3 cup of fresh lemon juice and 3 cups of water. Stir well.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed. Serve over ice and garnish with mint, peach, or lemon slices.
