Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by patting the fresh shrimp dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Place the shrimp in a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Sprinkle all-purpose flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper over the shrimp. Toss everything until the shrimp are evenly coated.
  3. In a large non-stick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter with 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
  5. Carefully lay the coated shrimp in a single layer in the skillet. Cook for about 2 minutes until pink on one side. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Remove from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. Toss to combine, then garnish with parsley.
  7. Transfer the Garlic Shrimp to a serving platter and enjoy hot, paired with coconut rice or sautéed vegetables.
