  • Salt and Pepper Adjust according to taste.
For Cooking
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil Can substitute with a neutral oil.
  • 1/2 Onion Sliced, any onion variety works.
  • 1 Bell Pepper Sliced, colorful peppers are ideal.
  • 2 Green Onions Chopped for garnish, optional.
  • Sesame Seeds For garnish, can be omitted.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix well and toss in chicken to coat. Marinate for at least 10 minutes or up to 2 hours.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil until shimmering.
  3. Sauté sliced onion and bell pepper for 3-4 minutes until softened and caramelized; set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add marinated chicken in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Return sautéed vegetables to the skillet with the chicken, stir together for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.
