Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast can be swapped with firm tofu for a vegetarian option
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil can use vegetable oil if needed
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce opt for vegan hoisin for vegetarian/vegan
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce low-sodium soy sauce is a healthier choice
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce use vegetarian oyster sauce for vegan version
For the Vegetables
  • 1 cup Mushrooms shiitake or button; dried shiitake can be rehydrated
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger fresh, thumb-sized piece, minced
  • 1 cup Carrots shredded
  • 2 cups Cabbage bok choy or Napa cabbage can be substituted
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers any color
For the Wraps
  • 4 pieces Mandarin Pancakes or Tortillas flour tortillas work well as a substitute

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep all ingredients by thinly slicing the chicken and vegetables, and mincing garlic and ginger.
  2. In a nonstick skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden brown.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger, then add mushrooms and other vegetables, cooking until crisp-tender.
  4. Combine the cooked chicken with sautéed vegetables and add hoisin, soy, and oyster sauces, stirring to coat.
  5. Warm wraps and fill with the chicken and vegetable mixture, rolling tightly; serve immediately.
