For the Soup
  • 2 lbs Beef Ribs cut into pieces
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for cooking
  • 1 large Onion sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 6 cups Beef Broth or water
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 2 carrots Carrots sliced
  • 2 stalks Celery chopped
  • 1 bay leaf Bay Leaf
  • Salt to taste Salt
  • Pepper to taste Pepper

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add beef ribs and brown them on all sides. Remove ribs and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onions and sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and cumin, stirring for 1 minute.
  3. Return the beef ribs to the pot. Pour in the beef broth or water.
  4. Add sliced carrots, celery, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for about 60 minutes, until the beef is tender.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove bay leaf before serving.
  7. Serve hot in bowls and enjoy your comforting meal!
