Cooking Steps
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add beef ribs and brown them on all sides. Remove ribs and set aside.
- In the same pot, add onions and sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and cumin, stirring for 1 minute.
- Return the beef ribs to the pot. Pour in the beef broth or water.
- Add sliced carrots, celery, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 60 minutes, until the beef is tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove bay leaf before serving.
- Serve hot in bowls and enjoy your comforting meal!
