Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until dissolved. Combine with orange juice, zest, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
  3. Place salmon on the baking sheet, pat dry, and baste with teriyaki sauce, reserving half.
  4. Bake salmon for about 14 minutes until flaky and golden.
  5. Baste again with reserved glaze and broil for 1 minute for a charred finish.
  6. Let salmon rest, serve over rice, and garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and red pepper flakes.
