  • 1 tbsp Chili Garlic Sauce adjust to taste or substitute with sriracha
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup or Honey use maple syrup for vegan option
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Grated Ginger
For Garnishing
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Peanuts or substitute with cashews
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro optional
  • 2 pcs Green Onions use both white and green parts
  • 2 tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tsp Crushed Chili Flakes optional

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the dried Chinese egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 4-6 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, chili garlic sauce, maple syrup, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
  3. Combine Noodles and Sauce: Transfer the cooled noodles to a large bowl, pour the sauce over them, and toss gently to coat evenly.
  4. Add Fresh Ingredients: Sprinkle in chopped peanuts, green onion whites, and cilantro. Mix gently to combine.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Spoon noodles into bowls, topping with green onion greens, toasted sesame seeds, and crushed chili flakes if desired.
