Cantaloupe Mojito Ingredients
  • 1 medium Cantaloupe Fresh and ripe, can substitute with honeydew or watermelon
  • 1 lime Lime Freshly squeezed for maximum flavor
  • 2 oz Rum Optional; skip for non-alcoholic version
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup Can substitute with agave nectar or honey
  • 10 leaves Mint Leaves Fresh; spearmint or peppermint works well
  • 1/2 cup Sparkling Water Use flavored sparkling water for extra taste
  • 1 cup Ice Essential for chilling
Cantaloupe Mint Sparkler Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Cantaloupe Juice Use fresh juice from the cantaloupe
  • 10 leaves Mint Leaves Muddle gently to release oils
  • 1/2 cup Sparkling Water Best when bubbly
  • 1 lime Lime Juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Prepare cantaloupe juice by blending fresh cantaloupe cubes until liquified. Add juice of one lime and blend briefly.
  2. Muddle mint leaves in each glass for about 10-15 seconds to release oils.
  3. Pour cantaloupe juice into glasses with muddled mint. Add rum for the mojito version and stir gently.
  4. Top off with sparkling water and add ice. Garnish with mint and lime.
