  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice freshly squeezed is best
  • 2 tablespoons honey maple syrup can be a great alternative
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce using low-sodium keeps it healthier
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional for thickening
For the Salmon
  • 1 pound salmon fillets wild-caught recommended
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt sea salt recommended
  • 1 teaspoon pepper freshly cracked preferred

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season 1 pound of salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Cook skin side up for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  4. Remove the salmon and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm.
  5. Whisk together 1/2 cup of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 2 minced garlic cloves in the same skillet.
  6. Return the salmon to the skillet, coating each fillet in the glaze. Simmer for about 1-2 minutes.
