Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Slice sweet onions into thick rings and layer them evenly in the greased baking dish.
  3. Melt unsalted butter and drizzle it over the layered onions. Sprinkle garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper evenly on top.
  4. Evenly distribute the shredded cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and grated Parmesan over the seasoned onions.
  5. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for about 25 minutes.
