  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can also be used

  • 2 cups Cooked Sushi Rice Short-grain or jasmine rice are substitutes
For the Toppings
  • 1 Avocado Cubed, optional
  • 2 tbsp Spicy Mayo Mix mayonnaise and sriracha
  • 1 tbsp Furikake Substitute with crushed nori or sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup Crispy Fried Onion Bits Panko breadcrumbs can be an alternative
  • 2 tbsp Scallions Sliced, or chives as a milder option

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep the Salmon: Remove skin from salmon, cut into 1-inch cubes and mix with teriyaki sauce and salt. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Build the Bake: Press sushi rice into a baking dish to form a base, layer marinated salmon, sprinkle with garlic powder and brown sugar.
  3. Broil: Preheat broiler to high, broil the dish for about 6 minutes until salmon is caramelized.
  4. Add Toppings: Top with avocado, spicy mayo, furikake, crispy fried onion bits, and scallions.
  5. Serve Immediately: Enjoy hot, pairing with pickled ginger and wasabi if desired.
