  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream coconut cream is a great alternative
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil can swap with butter

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, fresh sage, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Form mixture into approximately 2-inch meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. In a skillet, heat olive oil and stir in pumpkin puree, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Cook until blended.
  6. Transfer baked meatballs into the skillet with the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the meatballs with the pumpkin sage sauce, optionally over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
