Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) with the rack in the center.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with chopped onion for 5–7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Season the beef mixture with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for another 2–3 minutes.
- Grease a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray or butter and spread the seasoned beef mixture evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
