Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread the beef and soup mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the mixture.
- Layer frozen tater tots over the cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes until tater tots are golden brown.
- Sprinkle with any remaining cheese and bake for an additional 3-4 minutes.
